About Emily
I was bitten by the "horse bug" at a very young age. I started out taking lessons, and eventually talked my parents into buying me my first horse "Shadow". I started participating in Hunter Jumper around age 10 on my mare "Sugar". I feel that my strong English background has allowed me to understand the importance of a good seat and proper communication with my horse. In high school, I purchased Miss Lily La Phew and began barrel racing. I quickly became addicted to rodeo and everything that goes with it. I acquired Trix Wild Freckles in the summer of 2005 and he has introduced me to the huge world of Pro Rodeo. I have an associates degree in Agricultural Sales and Equine Mangagement, and I am working on my bachelors degree in Business/Equine Management. Currently, I am a money earner in the Womens Professional Rodeo
Association as well as a member of World Barrel Racing Productions, American Quarter Horse Association, and the National Barrel Horse Association. I have been featured in The Plano Profile and The Murphy Messenger. I also own a jewelry business, Deuces Wild, to help support my crazy rodeo dreams!!
